About Accion Global Investments:
Accion Global Investments invests in established financial services providers (FSPs) that support underserved micro entrepreneurs, families, and individuals in emerging markets. Over more than twenty years, we have founded, invested in, and helped operate some of the world’s leading microfinance institutions and innovative financial service providers, building demonstration models for the market and catalyzing the capital markets to transform financial services for the underserved. In today's rapidly changing digital environment, we are also focusing on building the leading digital banks of the future, in turn reaching more clients, even faster. We work closely with Accion’s digital advisory services group, Global Advisory Solutions, and Accion’s regional teams to provide strategic and operational support to our portfolio companies, with the goal of developing commercially sustainable businesses that realize social and financial returns.
The Senior Investments Officer, Financial Inclusion will be a key member the Accion Global Investments team, bringing expertise in investing in regulated financial institutions that are developing innovative digital financial services as well as operational knowledge of how financial services providers can leverage technology to scale. The candidate will work closely with Accion’s Global Advisory Solutions team to help develop digitization strategies for companies and will liaise with company boards and management teams to ensure alignment on Accion’s company engagement and digital strategies.
