    The Facilities department seeks a Part Time Office Receptionist to support its Cambridge, MA office with reception and light office management duties. She/he will report to the Office Manager, Cambridge.

     

    This position will be part time, planned for 9:00am to 12:30pm, Mondays through Fridays. 

     

    Responsibilities

    • Greet all Accion guests and visitors;
    • Receive incoming calls to the Cambridge office;
    • Maintain the appearance of the reception area, conference rooms and kitchen to include conference tables, refrigerators, emptying dishwasher, counters and cupboards;
    • Manage the ordering process and maintenance of all office supply areas, to include kitchen and food supplies;
    • Receive and distribute all packages;
    • Pick up and distribute USPS mail;
    • Ship inter-office mail to all Accion offices;
    • Assist with the ordering and maintenance of all office supplies for office;
    • Order, organize and stock the Copy room with necessary supplies;
    • Assist Office Manager team with troubleshooting when problems arise with office furniture and equipment (i.e. copiers, printers, office space);
    • Assist Office Manager with scheduling meetings, mailings and document preparation, and conference and event logistics, as requested.

    Qualifications

    • At least 1 year of receptionist or office administration experience preferred.
    • Demonstrated ability to multitask and work with little supervision.
    • Demonstrated customer service skills – courteous, enthusiastic, positive, can-do attitude.
    • Must possess a strong ability to work courteously and patiently with others in this role.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
    • Ability to do basic troubleshooting with office machinery (fax, copier, phones, computers).
    • High-level of initiative and motivation in addition to the ability to deal with confidential information.
    • Fluency in Spanish a plus.
