    Responsibilities

Through its Investing in Inclusive Finance (IIF) team, the Center for Financial Inclusion at Accion (CFI) focuses on fostering responsible investment and strengthening governance and risk management capacity among social impact investors, CEOs and board members of social enterprises. The new Board Leadership for Impact (BLI) program is a tuition-based executive education program that furthers CFI goals of enabling more effective execution between boards of directors and company management teams.  BLI team is looking for someone to support the research and recruitment process for building enrollment and tuition revenue and provide operational support for the market launch of BLI in late February 2020. This position reports to the Program Director and will work closely with the BLI Marketing Manager on the following priorities:

    • Market Research: This position will support execution of the BLI recruitment process that starts with researching and building a comprehensive picture of our target market across country markets and industry segments in Africa and Asia. In building a detailed, segmented picture of our tuition-paying customer target market the team will also be developing targeted, digital outreach strategies with corresponding ‘quick response’ actions when we receive signs of interest.

    • Recruitment and Digital Outreach: Support BLI participant recruitment via diverse digital channels captured in an online outreach campaign using varied content to reach senior leadership of hundreds of target social enterprises across Africa and Asia. Including direct discussion follow-up with potential candidates.

    • Alumni portal: Support the management of an online portal which engages past program participants (300+) and future participants in ongoing dialog on a purpose-built platform designed to capture and stimulate virtual discussions among past and future BLI alumni.

    • Event Planning and Organization: Support the planning and execution of BLI events around the world. Assist in scoping, program planning and logistics in collaboration with the program coordinator.
