Accion's Human Resources team is looking for someone who is motivated and excited about implementing high quality programs and initiatives that promote learning and development to boost engagement for our employees globally. This position will be spearheading global engagement activities and enabling employee growth and performance. This position reports into the Director Talent Development & Organizational Effectiveness and is a key member of our Human Resources (HR) team.

Position responsibilities

This position is a great opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about growing in the area of developing global talent while continuously focusing on improvements and creative solutions that cultivate a talented and inclusive workforce. The main responsibilities of this position include:  

  • Coordinate organization wide learning events
  • Manage Accion’s mentor program
  • Facilitate employees’ use of professional development funds
  • Administer the performance management platform (Lattice)
  • Support the annual employee engagement survey
  • Curate the monthly “HR Roundup” newsletter
  • Manage HR related organization wide community activities
  • Assist the Chief Talent Officer with the coordination of weekly meetings, retreats, and management reports/dashboards

  

Position qualifications

  • 1 - 2 years’ experience in an office environment preferred
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources or related field
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills, strong attention to detail
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to take initiative and think creatively
  • Excellent at multi-tasking with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Knowledge of Survey Monkey or other survey tools a plus
  • Strong Excel skills preferred
  • Willingness to embody our values of excellence, respect and passion for social change
  • Fluency in English required, proficiency in Spanish (oral and written) highly desired
