Accion’s Resource Development department has a solid track record of creative partnerships, strategic fundraising, and proven results. We work across a broad base of corporate and private foundation partners including Mastercard, Credit Suisse, FMO, Bill and Melinda Gates, MetLife, and Citi Foundations. In addition, we work with individual impact investors, philanthropic donors, and the public sector to carry out our important and increasingly urgent mission. Building on the existing strong base of supporters and partners, we aim to further expand the team and amplify our strategic partnership priorities and major gifts program.

The Manager will be responsible for renewing and expanding the pool of individual donors and prospects with a focus on the mid-level and major giving segments. This person will manage a portfolio of active donors and build prospect pipeline through strategic outreach and will also be responsible for refining our strategy for key giving societies. The position will work closely with all members of the Individual Philanthropy and Operations team and will contribute to the overall growth of Accion’s individual giving program, supporting the department’s overall goals. This position will report into the Vice President for Individual Philanthropy.
In collaboration with the Vice President, this position will be responsible for executing a comprehensive strategy to increase the annual cash giving of mid-level and major donors, co-developing engagement strategies for prospective donors, creating stewardship materials and opportunities for current and prospective donors, and supporting donor-focused events as needed.
