About Accion Advisory:

The Accion Advisory team combines decades of on-the-ground experience with insights into new technologies to help our partners become more sustainable and scalable. We work with a variety of organizations focused on serving the financial needs of low-income people and businesses in emerging markets. With a presence in Africa, Asia, and the Americas, our team provides strategic and operational support to strengthen our partners and maximize their impact on underserved customers.

Our team is comprised of Regional Program Managers (RPMs) and their teams who are responsible for driving new business, bringing local context and hands on experience to meet customer needs; and Practice Area Leads who are technical area experts responsible for building the Advisory team’s expertise in core areas, driving execution excellence, and capturing synergies across technical practice areas and regions. The Practice Area Leads seek to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the execution of our engagements and to develop reusable tools and collateral for specific areas of expertise that Accion Advisory brings to all of our clients.

 

 

Position Summary 

The Senior Analyst will support the implementation of all Impact Measurement & Management (IMM) and Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) activities for Accion Advisory. This includes designing Theories of Change (ToC) for Advisory projects, developing baseline, midline, and endline surveys, and coordinating data collection, management, analysis, and reporting to support the execution of Accion’s IMM strategy.

The ideal candidate will have excellent coordination and data management skills, with the ability to work effectively across regions and projects.

The position will be based in India.

   

Position Responsibilities

Data Tracking & Analysis:

  • Track partner- and project-level data for all impact metrics in line with Accion’s IMM results framework and reporting requirements.
  • Analyze impact data and identify key trends and insights.

Dashboard Development:

  • Create and manage impact and operational dashboards for all Advisory projects using visualization tools like Power BI.
  • Ensure dashboards effectively communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) and project outcomes.

Survey & ToC Development:

  • Support the development of Theories of Change (ToC) for all Advisory projects.
  • Assist in designing baseline, midline, and endline surveys, ensuring alignment with project objectives.

Framework Alignment & Benchmarking:

  • Facilitate the adoption of relevant IMM frameworks and benchmarks across Accion.

Communication & Reporting:

  • Develop communication materials for external audiences, including resource development, marketing collateral, executive presentations, and content for external-facing events.
  • Support Advisory project teams and other Accion departments with impact data and insights.

  

Position Qualifications

Required:

  • 3+ years of experience in evaluation, evidence gathering, and monitoring impact KPIs.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) and experience creating interactive dashboards.
  • Strong understanding of impact measurement tools, globally recognized metrics, and impact databases.
  • Experience in analyzing and interpreting impact data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to simplify complex data and communicate insights effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Strong collaboration skills with experience working across teams and engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to anticipate project needs, proactively solve problems, and coordinate with relevant parties.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred:

  • Certification in Impact Measurement or Lean Data methodologies.

Travel Requirements

  • Willingness and ability to travel 20% of the time.
