Position Summary:  

The audit consultant’s main responsibility will be to assist the Accion Emerge team in their annual audit process. This is a great opportunity for someone to leverage their economic modeling, forecasting, and research skills. This is a temporary, three-month position that will run from the middle of February until the middle of May 2026, 40 hours per week. This role will be based in India but does offer the option of a hybrid in-person/remote schedule.

   

Position Responsibilities 

  • Support the Portfolio Manager with all workstreams related to the annual audit process, including conducting discounted cash flow analyses, putting together economic forecasting models, and updating investment memos and presentation materials
  • Conduct high-level research on macroeconomic conditions and shifts in investment countries and compile findings into a report to be used in the audit  
  • Help to organize shared files and team initiatives – taking notes, keeping track of follow-up items, providing relevant updates

  

Position Qualifications

  • Current first-year + graduate looking for increase their exposure to the financial inclusion industry
  • Demonstrated coursework or practical experience in micro/macroeconomics, financial modeling, and corporate finance preferred 
  • Strong attention to detail and research skills.
