More at http://www.accion.org.    Position Summary   The Accion Global Advisory Solutions team is seeking a Manager, Payments for the Northern Triangle (NT) countries of Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador to lead strategic projects in the region as part of our work with the Partnership for Central America (PCA). PCA is a multi-national coalition of private organizations in collaboration with governments, non-profit groups, and private philanthropy to mobilize and coordinate private investments to help ensure those investments have a measurable and sustained impact on the people of Northern Central America for a better life in their homeland.   The candidate should be passionate about re-imagining the delivery of financial products to underserved customers in the region, working closely with Small Holder Farmers, micro merchants, and gig workers. The successful candidate will take the lead in the conceptualization, design, and consequent implementation of innovative, scalable and fit-for-purpose financial products that respond to customer needs, such as payment solutions, digital wallets, e-commerce platforms, credit, and savings solutions, that meet the needs of the strategic segments in the region.   The person in this role will be the focal point for the delivery of the projects, leading multi-disciplinary teams commanding the project through implementation. The Manager, Payments has a deep understanding of customer financial services needs and how technologies and other factors influence their perspectives, experience and decision making.   The person in this position can be based in Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, or Costa Rica; Guatemala, preferred.

In addition, we work with individual impact investors, philanthropic donors and the public sector to carry out our important and increasingly urgent mission. Building on the existing strong base of supporters and partners, we aim to further expand the team and amplify our strategic partnership priorities.   Position Summary The Manager, Research and Prospect Segmentation reports to the Vice President of Fundraising Strategy, Planning and Insights and will support the growth strategy for the Resource Development Department. In this position, you will work as part of a collaborative team to identify and research innovative donor segments. You will be the go-to source for prospect research and market trends as well as insights that are informed by data analysis. A key part of this role will be to work with our Individual Philanthropy and Private Sector Partnerships teams to identify development sector trends, giving potential and to conduct competitive landscape analyses,   Preferred locations: Washington, D.C. More at http://www.accion.org.    About Center for Financial Inclusion The Center for Financial Inclusion (CFI) works to advance inclusive financial services for the billions of people who currently lack the financial tools needed to improve their lives and prosper. We leverage partnerships to conduct rigorous research and test promising solutions, and then advocate for evidence-based change. CFI was founded by Accion in 2008 to serve as an independent think tank on inclusive finance.   Our role in the inclusive finance space is to identify learning gaps that could advance financial health of low-income people and undertake research and pilot testing to advance our collective understanding of what would drive progress. In areas where there is clear evidence of what works, we collaborate with partners to advocate and embed learning into implementation and practices of partners. We partner with all types of stakeholders – donors, investors, policymakers and providers – both in its research and pilot testing work as well as during its advocacy phase.   Position Summary   The Research Specialist position plays a strong contributing role in CFI’s research and policy influence work across four main areas of responsibility: the generation of insights, the communications of insights for impact, program management, and organizational culture. The position requires a deep familiarity of his/her team’s body of research, an emerging knowledge product pipeline, strong project and research administration, and an active commitment to CFI’s organizational culture of excellence. The ideal candidate will have the desire to contribute to research that aims to have a meaningful impact on improving lives.   The person in this role will be based in Washington, D.C.

This role reports to the Chief Development and Partnerships Officer (CDPO). This person will be responsible for strategic and long-term partnership development and fundraising outcomes across the department with specific focus on institutional partnerships and support the CDPO to leverage global awareness of and interest in Accion programs and thought leadership. The Sr Director will lead high visibility and high potential partnerships with current and prospective funders as well as manage a team of fundraisers. S/He will work closely with the CDPO to develop long term fundraising and partnership planning to maximize revenue generation and optimal positioning of Accion’s work.   Preferred location is DC or New York City.

More at http://www.accion.org.    Position Summary   The Senior Specialist, Risk and Credit Analytics supports three core areas to help drive sustainable growth for our clients: risk analysis (stability), credit analytics (insight), and growth strategies (quality). Through risk analysis we help our partners critically evaluate the risks facing an organization – both internally and externally – with an integrated risk management approach. With credit analytics, we use deep data statistical techniques to ascertain the effectiveness of product design, customer identification, underwriting, renewal, and collection policies both through traditional and digital channels. By focusing on understanding the environment and data better, we identify process improvement and product recommendations to help FSPs develop strategies to increase their efficiency, profitability and customer base. Working as part of a global, cross-functional team and guided by experienced Risk and Credit Analytics Managers, the Senior Specialists, Risk and Credit Analytics will represent Accion as an advisor to our clients and support a variety of risk and credit analytics activities and strategies for our clients. They will also support the evolution of our risk and credit analytics service offering, as well as support the development and improvement of new risk products.   The person in this position will be based in Bogota, Colombia.

Learn more here.     Position Summary:   The summer associate will be an integral part of the team and will be involved in Global Investments’ investing activities, process management and post-investment support to investee companies. The role will be highly entrepreneurial and analytical, spanning emerging market investing, consulting, and management, with a focus on financial inclusion. The targeted timing for this role is early June to mid-August 2023. This role will be based out of our Washington, D.C. office but does offer the option for a hybrid in-person/remote schedule.

Working closely with the MD and our regional managers, you will be a key supportive team member for the GLAS leadership and collaborate with co-workers who are industry experts with diverse backgrounds, being part of a team that is shaping and challenging the industry. You will work to support our global program management efforts; lead our internal communications initiatives and collaborate with other teams to support external communications; oversee board and management reporting; contribute to industry engagements and GLAS thought-leadership efforts.   Position Summary  The Accion Global Advisory Solutions (GLAS) team is seeking a Vice President, Business Development and Strategic Partnerships to develop and execute GLAS’ business development strategy.     Working closely with GLAS regional program managers and the Accion Resource Development department, the successful candidate will seek to expand GLAS’ global engagements with a wide range of public and private sector stakeholders working in emerging markets to serve the base of the pyramid.   This will include financial service providers, platform providers, FMCG companies, and agtech providers, among others seeking support in the conceptualization, design and consequent implementation of innovative, scalable and fit-for-purpose financial products and services.   The candidate will be responsible for establishing new global strategic partnerships to magnify the scope and impact of these engagements.

They will own the enterprise systems and solutions strategy and define Accion’s technology infrastructure to provide an effective and secure operating environment for hardware, software applications and communications.  The VP, Global Technology will work at the enterprise level and with all departments in achieving efficiency goals through technology solution improvements via cloud software systems or internal system development. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in digital modernization, cyber security and SAAS solutions to help define and implement Accion’s technology to support and advance the organizational strategy.
