COVID 19 response- content creation to help small businesses in times of crisis.   Program Overview and Strategic Role Accion Global Advisory Solutions is currently searching for a Consultant that will support the creation of specific and relevant digital content designed to help small business in times of crisis. The anticipated level of effort is of 60 days total over the course of 6 months. Local travel may be required. All work with be undertaken in accordance with local public health recommendations and mandates.   Accion has been working with micro- and small business owners in India for more than 10 years and in Latin America for almost 20 years; our technical experts have a deep familiarity with the unique needs of low-income entrepreneurs. S&P Global Foundation and Accion partnership will help microentrepreneurs by developing engaging content that helps low-income entrepreneurs build the digital capabilities they need to become active participants in the rapidly changing economic environment.
About Accion: Accion is currently searching for a Consultant that will work with the Mastercard and Accion Partnership, (MAP) focused on Program Management Digital Transformation. The consultancy will be and anticipated level of effort of 120 days total over the course of 1 year. Local travel may be required. All work with be undertaken in accordance with local public health recommendations and mandates.   Mastercard and Accion established a first-of-its-kind partnership (internally referred to as the Mastercard Accion Partnership; “MAP”) to bring their worldwide networks and resources together to transform millions of underserved micro and small businesses around the world. Through insights, innovations and investments, the two organizations will power microbusinesses to successfully operate in, and benefit from, the digital economy, leading to greater financial inclusion, economic growth and job creation.  
Program Overview and Strategic Role   Accion’s Global Advisory Solutions team is seeking a mid-level UI/UX designer consultant to be responsible for creative ideas in the design and user experience for web and digital media applications of Ovante, a product of our Customer Engagement work at Accion. Ovante is a digital platform designed to strengthen microentrepreneurs’ management, financial and digital capabilities by incentivizing actual behavior change, in order to help them thrive in a competitive and digital world. Ovante goes beyond financial education, supporting entrepreneurs and financial service providers to better navigate the transition to digital, and building entrepreneurs’ capacities around budgeting, social media marketing, credit management, time management, and other capabilities crucial to running and growing micro and small businesses.   The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience, can show a compelling portfolio of user experience and user interface designs, and has demonstrated experience conducting user research (e.g. prototype testing). We value candidates who have experience designing for digital learning, behavior change, and have worked on projects focused on people with lower levels of digital literacy.   S/he will thrive in a fast-paced work environment that requires strong problem-solving skills, an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication. This individual should have a passion for researching, understanding and defining the needs and behaviors of customers. S/he will also work with the lead designer, technology team and key stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into exceptional designs that serve the needs of our clients.     Design and user experience for web and digital media applications of Ovante, a product of our Customer Engagement work at Accion   Remote work, preferably in LATAM region or India. Accion MFB is accelerating its financial inclusion agenda by incubating a new, digital unit that will help increase the efficiency of its MSME customers and drive scale; through the smart use of digital technologies and channels, effective product design, strategic partnerships and innovative customer engagement approaches.   Position Summary    Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Head, Digital Transformation will help drive the execution of the bank’s digital strategy, with a focus on delivering new digital products and services profitably; building a strong digital team and accelerating customer growth through improved customer experience and effective products. The role will work closely with the bank’s senior leadership team to overhaul the bank’s digital channels, implement risk management frameworks complementary to, and supportive of the digital transformation mandate.
