Accion Venture Lab is looking for a Community Manager to add to our highly regarded Portfolio Engagement function, providing industry-leading support to our global network of founders. This person will build the early components of Venture Lab’s platform to serve over 60+ founders in our portfolio, and the broader inclusive fintech community, with a consistent and measurable slate of resources, connection points, and events.   The Community Manager will be joining a diverse team of global investing and operational experts that have invested in and supported over fifty early-stage fintech startups across five continents. Ideally, the Community Manager will be based in DC; however, this position can also be based remotely in the US Eastern Time zone. Request for Proposal: We are seeking technical and financial proposals from a consultant or a firm to undertake research on a group. As part of its COVID-19 research, with funding from the Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth, the Center for Financial Inclusion (CFI) has been undertaking research with Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) in four countries: Nigeria, India, Indonesia and Colombia.  In each country, CFI has worked with a local financial service provider to identify clients and measure the financial health of the MSME by undertaking a large scale survey in each country. All data cleaning, analysis and publications have been completed. The General Counsel plans and is accountable for all aspects of Accion's legal affairs, including its relationships with outside counsel, and ensures the appropriate protection of its legal rights and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The General Counsel is a member of Accion’s Operating Committee and reports to the Chief Executive Officer and to the Board of Directors.   Central to the position is the oversight over and protection of Accion’s not-for-profit corporate and federal tax-exempt statuses, and the accompanying charitable purpose related to both that flow throughout its legal structure. Accion utilizes all of the tools available to it in order to advance its mission, including complex legal structuring, partnership, and capital deployment models that fully leverage Accion’s impact. Accion Global Advisory Solutions (GLAS) is seeking a Manager, Educational Content Creation (eLearning) to be responsible for leading the Design and Content Creation of innovative digital solutions for microentrepreneurs, helping them build their management and financial and digital capacities by incentivizing behavior change so that they are able to thrive in a competitive and digital world.​    Digital solutions are designed by GLAS with a customer centric approach with the objective of enabling Micro, Small and Medium Entrepreneurs (MSMEs) to have more successful businesses. This is done by participating in focused and practical digital programs that will help them grow their business (e.g. make more money, improve profitability) and also improve the resilience of their business (e.g. appropriate risk management, appropriate planning).   Position Summary The role of the Manager, Educational Content Creation (eLearning) will focus on enabling learning experiences by empowering people with the digital tools and information they need to succeed in their business by: - Understanding educational methodologies that explain how people learn. - Translating client research into concrete knowledge, skills and learning objectives to be developed. - Creating content that is efficient, effective, appealing, and engaging, inspiring acquisition of knowledge. - Delivering content through digital channels and media. In this role the Manager, Educational Content Creation (eLearning) will work with subject matter experts, a diverse range of formats and multimedia production platforms, develop audiovisual content (videos), business tools (budget, sales forecast), and social media content (blogs, tutorials). Accion Venture Lab seeks a strategic and collaborative Operations Analyst to manage fund operations, provide fundraising and business development support, and manage relationships across internal and external stakeholders.
