Working closely with each of its subsidiaries, departments, auditors, clients and vendors, the finance team plays a critical role in ensuring a clean audit every year in accordance with accounting principles generally accepted in the USA. The Finance team includes 14 finance and accounting professionals with expertise in consolidated multicompany & multicurrency financial statements, treasury, payroll, accounts receivable and payable, financial donor reporting to corporations, foundations, multilateral & public donors, budgeting and planning, finance systems integration and automation.     Position Summary  The Accounts Receivable Account Specialist will be responsible for performing A/R, billing, intercompany billing, accounting cycle, General ledger transactions. S/he will also provide overall support to the daily accounting operations.

More at http://www.accion.org    About the Legal Department Accion’s legal team manages all aspects of Accion’s Legal, Compliance and Risk Programs. Working closely with each department, the legal team plays a critical role in ensuring that Accion’s mission advances, its goals are met, and projects are successful by combining experienced counsel with strong business sensibilities.   Position Summary  Accion is seeking an experienced and driven Associate General Counsel, Impact Investments (“Investments Counsel”) to join the Accion Legal Department and support all legal matters related to Accion’s mission-related, impact-focused investments in the financial inclusion space. The Investments Counsel will also assist with private fund formation and investment management.  Reporting to the General Counsel, the Investments Counsel will be able to provide advice on all aspects of investments and fundraising, including day-to-day cross border transactional support, fund formation, and fund structuring. The successful candidate will have working experience in equity and quasi-equity investment transactions with an emphasis in emerging markets, forming private equity funds and related investment vehicles, managing outside counsel relationships, and assisting with investments by institutional investors in private funds and co-investments.  Since Accion’s investments activity is primarily located within Accion Impact Management, a federally registered Investment Advisor, Investments Counsel will also be responsible for assisting with the organization’s compliance program.

The Budget Manager oversees the financial reporting for key grants and contracts and regular reporting to budget owners and departments across the organization. S/he works closely with Operations Department Heads, Project Managers, Resource Development, Human Resources, Controller, Finance staff and CFO to ensure overall operations are within budget, to provide reporting and to develop appropriate tools. Closely coordinates activities with 2-3 members of finance team.

More at http://www.accion.org.    About Center for Financial Inclusion: The Center for Financial Inclusion (CFI) team is driven by our vision of a world where all people are able to use financial services and participate in the economy to improve their lives and prosper. We are looking for colleagues who share our passion to join us on the journey.   We are a small, passionate team making an outsized impact by conducting rigorous research, testing promising solutions, and advocating for evidence-based change. Last year, we published nearly 50 knowledge products and tallied impressive audience gains on social media and the CFI website. We also host several events, including Financial Inclusion Week (FIW), our flagship annual virtual gathering for the global financial inclusion community. In 2022, FIW featured almost 400 speakers and over 3,300 registered participants—representing 2,000 organizations and 146 countries. CFI also leads the Responsible Finance Forum, which hosts several global events each year on responsible finance and consumer protection.   Position Summary  This is a new position on CFI’s communications team and an exciting opportunity to help expand CFI’s visibility. We’re looking for someone with a keen eye for detail, excellent editorial judgement, and a creative mindset to help shape our communications and advocacy work. Our ideal candidate is inspired by our mission and making a difference in the world, comfortable working on all aspects of communications for an organization, and excited to roll up their sleeves to toggle between a variety of roles—ranging from copywriter to communications outreach campaign manager to publications coordinator. This is a key role working with partners and clients around the world, showcasing the impact of Accion’s work to improve the lives of underserved people by building innovative and responsible financial solutions.   The ideal candidate brings 12 years of experience, including a global outlook, and demonstrated experience designing and delivering strategy, and in media relations, working in a diverse environment. They will be eager to join a talented team that works at the cutting edge of financial inclusion across startups, financial technology, research and international development.   The role reports to Accion’s Chief Communications Officer.

This position will report to the Deputy CFO.
