About the Accion Venture Lab Company Builder (AVLCB) Program
We are currently recruiting entrepreneurs to identify, validate, and launch promising consumer-facing fintech business models in Nigeria as part of the Accion Venture Lab Company Builder Program (AVLCB). AVLCB will work with these entrepreneurs to build their business from the ground up, leveraging our global knowledge and expertise in fintech models for financial inclusion while also providing financial and non-financial support as the startup business scales. The program will operate as follows:
The Organizational Development Intern will add value to Accion, through support of the organization’s performance and talent management processes and implementation of high quality organizational development initiatives and programs designed to ensure excellence in attaining Accion’s mission and objectives. He/She will strategize, develop and support key organizational activities during the duration of the internship, including the annual employee engagement survey, the annual talent review process, and the re-design of Accion’s corporate mentor program.
The intern will also look closely at Accion’s performance management process and the way it is introduced to new hires through on boarding and interim review processes.
The intern will gain exposure to the organization and employee development in a global non-profit organization. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate student to apply and expand their skills in data input and analysis, communications, and training and development in a non-profit Human Resources setting.
We are seeking a Training and Development Intern to join the Human Resources team. The intern will focus on staff learning opportunities, in particular online and distance learning. S/he will research relevant courses for Accion staff, as well as review and improve our internal eLearning platform. In addition, the intern will support efforts to market courses and engage staff in the available opportunities. S/he may also have the opportunity to collaborate and contribute to a broad array of HR projects, including broader professional development, employee engagement, and talent acquisition.
